-2011 PhD in Dentistry. Faculty of Medicine of the University Complutense of Madrid, Spain.

He has completed the Master of oral surgery, implantology and periodontology by University Institution Mississippi and title in Oral Medicine from the Complutense University of Madrid. In year 2012 he was presented to the European examination of oral surgery achieving Fellow of the European Board in Oral Surgery.

2009 – Associate Professor in Prostodontics. Faculty of Medicine. Department of Surgery, University of Salamanca, Spain

Furthermore he works as professor of the Master of Surgery and Implantology at the Virgen de la Paloma Hospital

Currently chairs the XVI Congress of the Spanish Society of Gerodontology to be held in Zamora in June 2016

The major line of research is bone loss in dental implants.
