My research activity is developed especially focused on the study of basic medicine and musculoskeletal biology, as well as the study of the composition of biomaterials, bone regeneration, in vivo animal experimentation trials and clinical applicability. Up to date, I have published 6 papers in journals indexed in Journal Citation Reports, 5 of them are in the first quartile of its category. I have presented 18 communications in national and international scientific conferences. I have collaborated in two research projects:

  • INNPACTO: IPT-2012-0560-010000. “Sil-Oss®: biomaterial osteoinductor para regeneración ósea” (2012-2015).
  • Ministerio de Economía y Competitividad. MAT2014-51918-C2-1-R. “Sistemas poliméricos funcionales en medicina regenerativa. Aproximaciones biomiméticas a retos socio-económicos” (2015-2018).

I have been member of the commission in the Final Degree Projects of Medicine Faculty since 2016 and member of the Doctorate Program “Cirugía y Odontoestomatología” of University of Salamanca since 2015. I have supervised two Doctoral Thesis and five final degree projects.
